Biography

I am a graduate student in cognitive neuroscience at the Sleep and Cognition Lab (PI: Sara Mednick). My research interests include cognitive processing and autonomic activities during sleep, with an overarching goal to understand the neural mechanism of sleep-dependent memory associated with aging and sex using brain-imaging tools including EEG and fMRI.

Also a science communicator and a foodie.

Interests
  • Neural mechanism underlying sleep-dependent memory consolidation
  • Heart rate variability
  • Sex steroids
  • Neural correlates of dreaming
Education
  • PhD in Cognitive Neuroscience, 2020-present

    University of California, Irvine

  • MS in Cognitive Sciences, 2018-2020

    University of California, Irvine

  • BSc in Psychology, 2012-2016

    Furman University
